Teaching at our school
We employ, at any one time, a total of approximately 15 native speaker English teachers. This staff is a team, and as such we try to employ people who will fit into our team concept. For example, we do not want all of our staff members to be young with minimal experience, or perhaps not so young with a wealth of experience. We require a mix and a balance of staff; teachers who have the correct credentials though they might be purely language teachers or purely mainstream school teachers, they might be young or not so young, they might be from Canada, or New Zealand, or Wales, or USA, they might be in their first year of teaching or their twenty-first.
The minimum basic credentials a teacher needs to be able to apply for work with us are:
> a degree in education or a degree with a teaching certificate
> you must be a born and raised native-speaker of English
> the commitment to fulfill a one year contract
> the ability to be able to work with a team of teachers, of both Thai and native-speaker nationalities
> a positive outlook, a personable character and a professional appearance and attitude
> the desire to contribute to our students' education in more than just classroom time
